God has richly blessed Mark and his wife Monica with four boys: Marcus, Jason, Joel, and Jett.

Mark earned the B.A. in Religion from Oklahoma Baptist University (Shawnee, OK, 1992) and two degrees from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Kansas City, MO): a Master of Divinity (May, 1998) and the Doctor of Ministry with an emphasis in Expository Preaching (May, 2007).
